The Erasmus+ program is aimed at students enrolled in a three-year Bachelor’s Degree program at the Pantheon Design & Technology Institute.
To apply for participation, students must meet specific requirements:
Academic Requirements
- A weighted average grade not lower than B = 27 out of 30 (at the time of application).
Language Requirements
- Good knowledge of the language in which the chosen course is taught. The language level and/or certifications required by the host university are specified in the individual agreements and on their website.
- The minimum required level corresponds to B2, unless otherwise indicated by the University. The candidate must demonstrate their language proficiency at the time of applying to the Erasmus+ program. Official language proficiency certificates recognized by the host institution and established language evaluation authorities are the only acceptable means to prove eligibility. These certificates may include, but are not limited to, the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or equivalent language assessments for other languages.
Additional Participation Requirements
- Regular administrative status with the Pantheon Design & Technology Institute.
- Successful completion of all required exams during regular sessions.
Students interested in participating in the Erasmus+ program can download the necessary forms directly from the OUTGOING STUDENTS page.
The documents available on this site include:
- Erasmus+ Application Form
- Erasmus+ Regulations
- List of Partner Universities for the Erasmus+ program
After consulting the list, students can express up to three preferences. The choice of destination must be compatible with the field of study pursued at the Pantheon Design & Technology Institute.
Each year, in March, a call for participation in the Erasmus program will be published. Winners will be able to carry out their mobility period in the following academic year.
To apply, students must submit the following documents in digital format by sending an email to [email protected]
- Completed and signed Erasmus+ Application Form
- Signed Erasmus+ Regulations
- Curriculum Vitae
- Language Certificate
- Letter of Motivation
- Copy of Passport
- Portfolio
Motivational Interview
An Erasmus Office representative, after verifying the eligibility of the applications, schedules an appointment with the students to conduct a motivational and language interview.
The application can be submitted only once, except as specified in the “Reassignment” and “Withdrawal” paragraphs.
Once the requirements, compatibility of courses and chosen destinations, and candidates’ motivations have been verified, the Erasmus+ Office coordinator establishes a ranking based on the following criteria:
- Availability of places at partner universities for each semester and course
- Weighted average of grades obtained (in case of applications with the same average, individual student motivations will be considered)
- Score of the motivational interview
Completing the Selection Procedure
The Erasmus+ Office coordinator will send all the documents to the partner university within the specified dates. The partner university reserves the right to examine each application and may reject students, even if they have been selected by the Pantheon Design & Technology Institute.
The evaluation by the host university will be primarily based on actual seat availability, portfolio, language skills, program compatibility, motivation, and previous academic results.
The selected student for an Erasmus+ mobility for study purposes, who meets the eligibility criteria, acquires the status of an Erasmus student, gaining rights and responsibilities as specified in the Erasmus Charter. Contributions for Erasmus+ mobility for study are reserved for students with Erasmus+ status. This status does not necessarily guarantee the right to receive an Erasmus+ grant. Furthermore, it should be noted that surplus Erasmus students beyond the limits established by bilateral agreements with partner universities will not receive any grant.
Reassignment
Reassignment to available exchange positions will only occur in the event of refusal by the destination university for one of the following reasons:
- Lack of available places;
- Termination of the bilateral agreement;
- Changes in requirements by the destination university during the period from application to acceptance.
Withdrawal
Students assigned a position may withdraw their application after accepting the destination university only in the case of serious and documented personal reasons.
Departure
The departures of selected students are scheduled for the following periods:
– January/February for second-year students (second semester)
– August/September for second or third-year students (first semester).
Students must assess and define, in consultation with the course coordinator, the list of subjects to be taken during their time abroad (Learning Agreement).
Learning Agreement
Once accepted, students must complete the Learning Agreement with the assistance of the Course Coordinator.
Students must deliver this document to the Coordinator of the host university, have it signed for approval, and send a copy to the Erasmus+ coordinator.
The Learning Agreement must include the course code and name, as well as the number of corresponding credits.
The maximum number of credits that can be recognized is 30, which corresponds to approximately one semester.
The Learning Agreement can be modified based on the advice given to the student by the host university coordinator and course availability, after the student has arrived abroad. The student must send the modified Learning Agreement to the Erasmus+ coordinator.
Return
Upon return, students must provide the following documents to the Educational Coordinator:
- Transcript of Records (issued by the host university)
- Certificate of Stay
- Final Report
Students must also attach the program of the courses taken to facilitate the school’s result verification and credit recognition.
Before proceeding with the registration of the exams taken, the corresponding credits, and the grade in thirtieths, the Educational Coordinator, in agreement with the school, may review the student’s results and evaluation.
To facilitate the recovery of any educational debts accumulated by the student before departure or during the exchange period, the school may organize activities to recover content and special exam sessions.
Code of Conduct and Responsibility
In accepting the application for participation in the Erasmus+ program, the Pantheon Design & Technology Institute undertakes to connect the student with the host university contact, providing all information regarding the school, the expected course program, and any exams to be taken. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure they have all the required documentation from the host country (valid passport, residence permit, medical insurance, etc.) and to secure accommodation (on-campus room, residence apartment, hotel, etc.) for the entire period before departure.
Furthermore, the student commits to maintaining a respectful and responsible behavior abroad, avoiding any harm to the school and the host country. The Pantheon Design & Technology Institute disclaims any responsibility for issues not related to education and the regular course of the procedure.
