The ancient Romans called it Pantheum, the temple of all gods; today we know it as the Pantheon. This iconic building, with its extraordinary dome, has for millennia been a point of reference for artists and thinkers from all over the world. In the same way, our goal is to be a benchmark for the education of Italian and international creatives, as demonstrated by our collaborations with European and Chinese Design Institutes.

An inspiration born from the philosophy of the Pantheon, which we chose to embrace and honor as early as 1969 by adopting this name for our Institute, whose headquarters were located just behind the Pantheon itself. Alongside the name Pantheon Institute, we chose to add Design & Technology — a decision that expresses who we are. Two worlds that find their balance precisely in their meeting: it is from the intersection of these two disciplines that a solid, practical education emerges, oriented toward the demands
of the job market and capable of supporting each student throughout their academic journey at the Pantheon Institute.

“Design is thinking made visual,” said the American illustrator Saul Bass. Design gives form to ideas, bringing objects, images, and spaces to life. It is a project-based discipline that explores solutions to everyday problems, connecting form and function through the use of technology and lateral thinking. An essential element in the world of creativity, which we will continue to support and pass on to all our students thanks to the guidance of experienced faculty.

We believe in the power of innovation. We study and apply enabling Industry 4.0 technologies to train professionals capable of navigating new digital ecosystems with awareness and competence, making technology a tool for experiential learning. This approach integrates and enhances creative, analytical, and production processes, opening new possibilities in the ways we learn and design. It does not replace human capabilities, but amplifies them. For this reason, alongside the word Design, we chose to place Technology.

From virtual reality to artificial intelligence, technology is not only part of our Institute’s name — it is an integral component of our educational offering, becoming a central element of every learning pathway.

Pantheon Design & Technology Institute, in keeping with its tradition of excellence in education and in line with the Bologna Declaration and the Lisbon Convention, has adopted a quality management system that encompasses all the Institute’s activities. This system has been integrated with the accreditation requirements established by the AVA
system (Self-Assessment, Evaluation, Accreditation), for the benefit of all stakeholders: students, faculty, technical and administrative staff, alumni, companies, public bodies, and
civil society.

The Code of Ethics of the Pantheon Institute of Culture defines the values and standards of conduct that guide all the Institution’s activities. Its purpose is to promote and ensure the principles of transparency, fairness, integrity, and responsibility in all interactions with internal staff, faculty, students, collaborators, and every other stakeholder.
