Interactive Design
VIRTUAL REALITY - AUGMENTED REALITY - INTERACTION
Become an expert in Virtual and Augmented Reality to create original and impactful projects.
DESCRIPTION
The Executive Master in “Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality – How to design the future” wants to provide participants with the theoretical and practical tools to apply Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) to the interactivity and design markets, and let them know how to use these technologies in companies.
They will be given the opportunity to know and experience in a practical way the implementation of Virtual and Augmented Reality experiences: the general theory and analysis of the software on the market today, editing and post-production.
Why choose Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality?
The importance of immersive technologies for professionals and for companies. In recent times Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) are revolutionizing business models, generating a profound change.
If the first aims at active involvement, bringing the user into an abstract yet very real dimension, the second merges technology and reality by introducing virtual elements and information into the user’s environment.
Both technologies are evolving rapidly, and thanks to their application companies are entering what has been called the third era of IT, and need professionals who know how to manage these technologies.
“Today we are in a historical moment in which we can learn how to make apps without having the app store”, said Andrea Giansanti, coordinator of the executive master. So we need to be ahead of the times and acquire both technical and theoretical skills to know what has been done and what are the right practices to apply, so that we can build a series of new scenarios. At the moment, these technologies are still a bit niche because the diffusion of headsets is not yet so widespread. The path to take should lead towards the generalization of skills and the discovery of the existence of multiple software, to then be able to integrate them into the various technologies.
