Pantheon Design & Technology Institute is an AFAM Institution (Higher Education in Art, Music and Dance) authorized by the MUR (Italian Ministry of University and Research). It offers Higher Artistic Education programmes in Design, Graphic Design, Digital Graphic Design, Graphic & Game Design, Digital Communication for Cultural Heritage, and Art Direction. The Institute collaborates with professionals and leading companies in the sector, with the aim of providing students with up-to-date preparation in both theoretical and project-based aspects, offering a fully job-oriented vision.
Foundation of the Institute
Since its foundation in 1969, the Pantheon Institute has been delivering training courses in the artistic field, authorized between 1978 and 1979 by the Lazio Region pursuant to Framework Law No. 845 of 21/12/78, Regional Law No. 99 of 18/12/1979, and Regional Law No. 23 of 02/92. These courses award professional qualification certificates valid at national level and throughout the European Community in accordance with Directive 2005/36/EC.Authorization of Higher Education Degrees

In 2012, the Institute structured its academic offer in compliance with regulations governing the educational systems of Higher Artistic Education Institutions (AFAM). By Ministerial Decree (MUR) No. 626 of 18/07/2013, it obtained authorization to award Higher Artistic Education degrees, activating First-Level Academic Diplomas in Design and Digital Applications for Visual Arts (180 CFA-ECTS credits*).
First-Level Academic Diplomas
In 2016, by Ministerial Decree (MUR) No. 943 of 01/12/2016, the Institute obtained authorization to activate First-Level Academic Diplomas also in Graphic Design and Multimedia Design (180 CFA-ECTS credits*). In the same year, it became an authorized Eicenter Business accredited by Certipass to promote certification programmes in digital culture and the use of digital tools.Academic Master’s Programmes
Dal 2017 è Eicenter Master, gestendo una rete di centri di formazione in tutta Italia. Since 2017, the Institute has been an Eicenter Master, managing a network of training centres throughout Italy. It launched “Job Master” programmes aimed at bridging academic studies and the professional world. These programmes are designed and implemented in close collaboration with companies to provide students with all the necessary skills. After classroom instruction, students undertake a company internship aimed at job placement.In 2017, the Institute also initiated the recognition procedure for two First-Level Academic Master’s programmes (60 CFA-ECTS credits* | EQF Level 7) to enrich its educational offer and ensure training aligned with the labour market.
Erasmus+ Program
The Institute participated in the Call for Proposals (EACEA/03/2018) within the Erasmus+ Programme, obtaining the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education 2014–2020 in October of the same year and launching student mobility projects.50 Years of Activity
In 2019, the Institute celebrated its first 50 years of academic activity by organizing events and initiatives in the city of Rome.
Milan and Hangzhou Campuses/b>
In 2020, the Institute was characterized by the opening of the Milan campus and a strong drive toward internationalization; it obtained recognition from the Chinese Ministry of Education, opened a campus in Hangzhou, and renewed its participation in the Erasmus Programme, obtaining the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education 2021–2027.New First- and Second-Level Academic Diplomas
In 2021, by Ministerial Decree No. 613 of 12/03/2021, the Institute obtained authorization to award the First-Level Academic Diploma in “Communication and Enhancement of Contemporary Artistic Heritage” (DAPL09). By Ministerial Decree No. 614 of 12/03/2021, it also obtained authorization to award the Second-Level Academic Diploma in “Art Direction” — School of Artistic Design for Business (DASL06).
